I also state that, yes, "love is love" and partnership, comfort, trust and of course, passion are all human and natural without any discernible difference between the two except that of "wiring" which plainly is used by the free will of the individual also living within the above motives: of course, there is no worldly difference up to that found in the Christian religion (amongst others). Christ's marriage is made between the two bodies of the "Spirit" and the "Bride"; made of the body of the not fallen (the angelic) to the body of the "bride" (those forgiven, i.e. Christians). It is one UNION made of two separate futures married forever into one body of elect. That marriage is completely spiritual and may only be performed with the consent and authority of Christ Himself, at a time of His choosing, with an elect also only of His choosing. That marriage of Christ is the one divine template for human marriage, as it is principal and comes before. That two people will grow up to adulthood, leave their parents authority and forever dedicate themselves to each other as one unit is perhaps too much to ask of humans, as it would take a divine blessing for that marriage to last eternity out. For, it is also written: Mat 19:5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Mat 19:6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. Mat 19:7 They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away? Mat 19:8 He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so. Mat 19:9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery. Mat 19:10 His disciples say unto him, If the case of the man be so with his wife, it is not good to marry. (KJV) Without a divine blessing marriage is not able to last. People of any orientation are simply too hardened to the world for it. So, without a divine blessing, there is no "worldly difference" between any marriage and a Christian marriage. That stated, there is a huge spiritual and (waiting) supernatural difference in that Christian marriage as God Himself will bless it and in that eternity it will be given and (only), thereby, granted. (Subject to those truly elected.) So, is this an outcome desired by a homosexual? It makes no difference to ask God to bless it or not: the Spirit is already Spirit and the bride already bride: there is no crossover in the heavenlies, and Jesus has made no provision for the election of those that will not repent. It is not the choice of the candidate betrothed or of the "Church" to allow or permit gay marriage, rather it is Christ's choice to enjoin two together for eternity as intended and it is only His blessing that will do so successfully. Those that would project themselves from Bride into Spirit are employing Satan's device of wormwood and are beguiling themselves. Placing ones sinful self in the heavenlies is an error, such an one would ignore the conditions placed over the elect Bride instead. Only those forgiven become part of that one elect body! (As to the "crossover", no angel being "not fallen" ever requires forgiving and all human beings are considered "fallen" before God - that "original sin" thing again, or else "all have sinned and fallen short" is a fact that suffices. Not equally but of wormwood, then, is the statement that the Christian, if gay, is as God intended (not fallen) and that being fallen is equally forgivable if one were angelic. There is some data on this in Revelation, but in truth angels ascend and descend continually! Cf. Jacob's dream of the ladder. The "Morning Stars", however, justify all that should be achieved in God's redemption, as taken to its extremities as of all creation: cf. Revelation's letter to the angel in Sardis, the angel overcomes the image of the beast under the worst circumstances; where Satan first places it, at "his seat". The angel, never to be blotted out of the book of life is found to be without sin. Can that be stated of a homosexual? The angel, whose crown is the marriage of the lamb itself, is no counter-example, but the only a-priori member of the one elected body under Christ after that same holy marriage: he, is already reckoned for!) That stated, it is not a worldly difference of marriage (gay/Christian) but a most heavenly one: male and female being created for that singular purpose of Christ already. The blessings are on His terms alone. Mat 19:4 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, (KJV) So, in worldly terms there is no difference between any marriage(s), only in the intent of the creator for His elect. For those not His elect or only masquerading as them, there is no such template and they receive their rewards of love, and all good companionship that will last them for as long as they desire it. Only God's intent to make an eternal marriage is truly that intent of the creator and those not elected to it do not have that (or as of their own in lasting out eternity) expected of them. They "lived not until the thousand years were ended". They, are not in the book of life to begin with: they, are excused election and its requirement(s) that they would otherwise commit fornication upon (in the spirit) rather than in a worldly marriage under a permissive society's own rules. So, the presence of a government approved certificate of marriage is no proof against God's existence or of His intent being against those calling themselves married without His blessing. For, those are potentially already handed over to a "reprobate mind" or "receive in themselves what is meet reward for them". (Love is love. God blesses with no other.) Rom 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. (KJV) Perverse? Truly by Christ's standards but not so the world. It is, after all, only a piece of paper; with as much blessing as government can provide. And why not provide for it? It is only true that the "Church" should not use Christ's authority to marry sinners, else they play the role of harlot. Yet can the authority be used for that? I dare say it cannot. Yet a minister of Christ should not be able to do so without wounding his conscience. What else may be stated? For the non-Christian there is no supernatural blessing of Christ even over a straight marriage, so what is all the hoo-hah about? Even if it is given that a Christian marriage is a third less likely to fail, too many are failing these days. Surely that should silence some criticism of those not called to the marriage in Christ itself? Stretching the Lord's intent beyond His making (and His own choices) is building a huge stumbling block. Sure, they may not be elected to the bride, but homosexual marriage (not permitted in the heavenlies) is no more worldly than one straight: if Christian marriages become just as worldly, where is the dividing line of God drawn? Not through the gay community but only through those Christians and their hypocrisies. That stated, it remains good for the "Church" never to recognise any gay marriage as it may not be made with Christ's Godly authority. If they permit it and allow themselves to marry homosexuals in His name they play the harlot with the beast. There is no way back for them. If it isn't broke, do not fix it!
